Zen Laundry Room

The clients wanted me to transform their laundry room into a calm and peaceful space where it is enjoyable to spend time since they will often be in and out of the room. Their top three wishes for this space are for it to feel open and bright. Have a modern yet unique style and does not feel cluttered. I decided to incorporate some different shapes into the design such as the semi-circles and the shelving above the washer and dryer. Throughout this project, I did run into some issues along with the budget. The millwork and the details are beautiful and it immediately catches your eye as you walk in. It is not too strong and powerful as I chose neutral colours to balance everything out. I think that the materials and the colours are quite unique in this design as they are balanced and unified. I am most proud that I was able to fulfill all of the client's wishes by creating a peaceful space for them to be in and also providing them with plenty of storage for all of their things.
